As livestock owners, you may know about production, grass management and customers, but do you know what’s required for livestock movement within and outside the state? Do you know what your liability risks are if animals move themselves outside of fences and into roads, or after people crossing your property? Attorney Steve Coteus will discuss legal issues around livestock and liability. Zach Bartlett from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture will focus on official identification and Certificates of Veterinary Inspection required for animal movement.

Please note that the session moderator will be happy to ask sensitive questions on behalf of the audience, just send them ahead to Jenn Colby.
