Management Intensive Grazing, also known as ‘Rational Grazing’, is a form of grazing management that can improve pasture forage yields, feed quality, plant species diversity, livestock health & performance, build organic matter, and increase the biological life in your soil. By taking weather, biology, ecology and technology (ie electric fencing, water systems) into consideration you can make your grazing system a success on your farm. This talk will focus on building a grazing system for a micro- dairy and/or a small beef operation. Come with your questions, ideas, and struggles and we will figure this out together.
